TORONTO TICKET MARKET — TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last Updated: September 8, 2026

1. OVERVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE

This website is operated by Toronto Ticket Market Inc. Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “Toronto Ticket Market,” “TTM,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Toronto Ticket Market Inc., as applicable to the product or service being purchased.

Toronto Ticket Market provides event tickets, ticket resale services, travel packages, bus trips, hotel packages and other event-related products and services.

By accessing TorontoTicketMarket.com, purchasing tickets, booking a trip or package, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, product-specific booking conditions disclosed at the time of purchase, and applicable terms imposed by third-party suppliers.

If specific terms displayed for a particular ticket, trip, package or service conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms disclosed for that product at the time of booking will apply, subject to applicable law.

You must be the age of majority in your province, state or country of residence to make a purchase through our website.

PART I — EVENT TICKETS

2. TICKET SALES AND SECONDARY-MARKET TICKETS

Toronto Ticket Market provides access to tickets for sporting events, concerts, theatre performances and other live events.

Tickets may be supplied directly by Toronto Ticket Market or through independent third-party ticket suppliers, brokers, marketplaces or resellers.

Where Toronto Ticket Market facilitates a transaction involving a third-party supplier, Toronto Ticket Market may act as an intermediary between the customer and the applicable ticket supplier.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Toronto Ticket Market is an independent ticket provider and is not the event organizer, venue, team, league, artist, promoter or primary ticket issuer.

For tickets to events in Ontario, Toronto Ticket Market will comply with applicable requirements of Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, 2017, as amended.

3. ONTARIO SECONDARY-MARKET TICKETS

Where Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, 2017 applies, a ticket offered for sale on the secondary market will not be made available or facilitated for an amount exceeding the total price originally paid when the ticket was purchased from the primary seller, plus applicable fees, service charges and taxes that may lawfully be charged on the secondary sale.

Applicable Ontario ticket offers will disclose, as required by law:

  • the total price paid when the ticket was originally purchased from the primary seller;
  • the total price charged on the secondary sale;
  • a separately itemized list of applicable fees, service charges and taxes;
  • the location of the seat or standing area, where applicable; and
  • any other information required by applicable law.

Where proof of the original total price is required before a secondary-market ticket may be listed or facilitated for sale, such proof must be provided in accordance with applicable law.

4. POSSESSION OR CONTROL OF TICKETS

Toronto Ticket Market will not make a ticket available for sale where doing so would violate applicable laws regarding possession or control of the ticket.

For tickets governed by Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, 2017, a ticket will not be made available for sale unless it is in the seller's possession or control as required by the Act.

5. TICKET PRICING, CURRENCY, FEES AND TAXES

For ticket offers governed by Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, 2017, applicable dollar amounts will be displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD)

For tickets to events outside Ontario, prices may be displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD), U.S. Dollars (USD) or another clearly identified currency where permitted by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the currency displayed before completing a purchase.

Applicable service fees, processing fees, delivery charges, taxes and other permitted charges will be disclosed in accordance with applicable law.

Prices and availability may change before an order is completed and confirmed.

6. ALL TICKET SALES ARE GENERALLY FINAL

Unless otherwise expressly stated or required by applicable law, ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.

Once an order has been confirmed, tickets cannot ordinarily be cancelled, returned or exchanged because the customer changes their mind, can no longer attend, purchases incorrect tickets or for another reason unrelated to a statutory or contractual refund entitlement.

Nothing in this section limits the full-refund guarantee applicable to qualifying Ontario secondary-market ticket sales or any other refund right that cannot legally be waived.

7. ONTARIO SECONDARY-MARKET TICKET GUARANTEE

Where required by Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, 2017, Toronto Ticket Market or the applicable secondary seller or secondary ticketing platform will provide the required written guarantee or confirmation applicable to the secondary-market ticket.

Where the statutory full-refund guarantee applies, the ticket purchaser will be entitled to a full refund in the circumstances required by the Act, including where:

  • the event the ticket provides admission to is cancelled before the ticket can be used;
  • the ticket does not grant the purchaser admission to the event for which it was issued, except where the statutory exception applies;
  • the ticket is counterfeit; or
  • the ticket does not match its description as advertised or represented to the purchaser.

Nothing in these Terms reduces or replaces a refund right provided by Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, 2017.

Where appropriate and acceptable to the customer, Toronto Ticket Market may also attempt to provide comparable or better replacement tickets, but a replacement remedy will not eliminate a statutory full-refund right where such a right applies.

8. TICKET GUARANTEE FOR OTHER TICKET SALES

For ticket sales not governed by the Ontario statutory guarantee, tickets sold or supplied through Toronto Ticket Market are guaranteed to be valid for admission subject to the terms applicable to the purchase and the customer's compliance with venue and event requirements.

If valid tickets cannot be supplied as ordered, Toronto Ticket Market or the applicable ticket supplier may, as appropriate:

  • provide comparable or better replacement tickets; or
  • provide a refund of the applicable ticket purchase amount.

A customer who is denied entry should contact Toronto Ticket Market promptly and provide reasonable documentation concerning the denial.

The guarantee does not apply where entry is denied because of customer conduct, intoxication, violation of venue policies, age restrictions, lack of required identification, failure to properly accept or access transferred tickets, or another circumstance attributable to the customer.

9. EVENT CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS AND RESCHEDULING

Event dates, times, venues, performers, participants and schedules are controlled by the applicable event organizer and may change.

For Ontario secondary-market tickets, cancellation refunds will be provided where required under the statutory full-refund guarantee described above.

For other ticket purchases, if an event is postponed or rescheduled and the purchased tickets remain valid for the new date, the purchase will generally remain valid and no refund will ordinarily be provided unless required by applicable law or authorized by the applicable ticket issuer or supplier.

If an event is cancelled outright and not rescheduled, refund or credit eligibility for ticket sales not covered by the Ontario statutory guarantee will be determined by the applicable ticket supplier, ticket issuer, event organizer, contractual terms and applicable law.

Toronto Ticket Market is not responsible for the decision of an event organizer, team, league, venue, artist or promoter to cancel, postpone or reschedule an event.

10. TICKET DELIVERY AND MOBILE TICKETS

Tickets may be delivered electronically, by mobile transfer, through a third-party application, by PDF, physical delivery, will call, local pickup or another method specified in connection with the purchase.

Certain tickets may not become transferable until shortly before the event. A delayed transfer does not by itself mean that an order is invalid.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, monitoring their email including spam folders, accepting ticket transfers, downloading required applications, creating required ticket accounts and ensuring their device can access the ticket at the event.

11. TICKET LISTING AND SEATING INFORMATION

Ticket listings may contain important information regarding section, row, seat or standing location, obstructed or limited views, accessibility, age restrictions or other conditions.

For ticket offers governed by Ontario's Ticket Sales Act, the seat or standing location will be disclosed where applicable as required by law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing disclosed ticket information before completing their purchase.

12. VENUE AND EVENT RULES

Customers and their guests must comply with all rules, policies and codes of conduct imposed by the venue, event organizer, team, league, promoter or ticket issuer.

Toronto Ticket Market is not responsible if a customer is denied entry or removed because of conduct, intoxication, prohibited items, failure to comply with security procedures, age restrictions or violation of venue policies.

This provision does not limit a statutory refund right where applicable.

PART II — TRAVEL PACKAGES, BUS TRIPS AND EVENT PACKAGES

13. TRAVEL AGENCY / TICO DISCLOSURE

Travel services offered through Toronto Ticket Market are arranged in affiliation with:

Nexion Canada ULC
380 Wellington Street, Tower B, 6th Floor
London, Ontario N6A 5B5
TICO Registration #1549342

Toronto Ticket Market Inc. operates in affiliation with Nexion Canada ULC for applicable travel services.

Travel arrangements are subject to Ontario travel-industry legislation and other applicable laws.

14. TRAVEL AND PACKAGE BOOKINGS

These provisions apply to bus trips, hotel packages, flight packages, sporting-event travel packages and other travel arrangements booked through Toronto Ticket Market.

Travel services may be provided by independent suppliers, including hotels, airlines, motorcoach companies, transportation providers and ticket suppliers.

The description, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, payment schedule and specific conditions displayed for a package form part of the customer's booking agreement.

Before completion of the applicable travel booking, customers will be provided with disclosures required by applicable Ontario travel-industry legislation.

15. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT

Certain packages require a deposit at the time of booking.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, deposits are non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline disclosed for the applicable package.

Failure to make required payments by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of applicable non-refundable amounts, subject to applicable law and the booking conditions disclosed for the package.

Toronto Ticket Market is not obligated to hold an unpaid reservation beyond an applicable payment deadline.

Specific deposit amounts, final-payment requirements and applicable non-refundable amounts will be disclosed in connection with the applicable package.

16. CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS

Travel packages may include tickets, hotels, transportation and other services purchased or financially committed to suppliers in advance.

Unless different cancellation conditions are disclosed for a specific package:

  • deposits are non-refundable, subject to applicable law;
  • cancellations before the final-payment deadline may be eligible for a partial refund less the non-refundable deposit, applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable amounts already committed or paid to suppliers;
  • cancellations after the final-payment deadline are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law; and
  • no refund will ordinarily be provided for unused portions of a package after travel has begun.

Applicable cancellation restrictions, the range of applicable penalties or other costs and non-refundable payments will be disclosed before completion of the booking as required by applicable law.

17. CANCELLATION BY TORONTO TICKET MARKET / MINIMUM PARTICIPATION

Certain group trips require a minimum number of participants.

Toronto Ticket Market may cancel a trip if minimum participation requirements are not met or circumstances make operation of the trip impractical.

If Toronto Ticket Market cancels an entire trip before departure, customers will receive the refund or other remedy to which they are entitled under the applicable booking conditions, supplier terms and applicable law.

18. EVENT CHANGES WITHIN A TRAVEL PACKAGE

Sporting events, concerts and other events included in travel packages may be postponed, rescheduled, relocated or cancelled by the applicable event organizer.

A change in event date or time does not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire travel package.

Where reasonably possible, the itinerary may be adjusted to accommodate an event schedule change.

Available remedies will be determined according to the circumstances, applicable supplier terms, booking conditions and applicable law.

19. ITINERARY AND MATERIAL CHANGES

Departure times, pickup locations, transportation schedules, activities and other itinerary components may occasionally be adjusted because of operational requirements or circumstances beyond Toronto Ticket Market's reasonable control.

Where a component becomes unavailable, a reasonably comparable substitute may be arranged where permitted.

Where the applicable travel agency becomes aware after booking of a change to a matter that, if known before booking, might have affected the customer's decision to purchase, the customer will be advised as required by applicable Ontario travel-industry legislation.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights applicable to material changes or accommodation substitutions.

20. HOTELS AND ACCOMMODATION

Hotels and other accommodation providers are independent suppliers.

Customers must comply with hotel rules, check-in requirements, occupancy restrictions and conduct policies.

Hotels may require identification and a credit card or cash deposit for incidental charges.

Customers are responsible for incidental charges and damage caused during their stay.

Hotel room type, bedding configuration and specific room location are subject to the booking description and hotel availability unless expressly guaranteed.

Material accommodation changes will be handled in accordance with applicable Ontario travel-industry legislation.

21. TRANSPORTATION

Motorcoach, airline, shuttle and other transportation services may be provided by independent third-party carriers.

Customers must comply with applicable carrier rules and instructions.

Customers must arrive at designated departure and pickup locations by the communicated time.

A customer who misses scheduled transportation is responsible for arranging and paying for alternative transportation. The group and transportation provider are not required to delay departure for a late passenger.

22. PASSPORTS, BORDER CROSSINGS AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Customers are responsible for determining and obtaining all documents required for travel, including valid passports, visas, identification, ESTA authorization where applicable and other required immigration or entry documentation.

Customers travelling outside Canada are advised that:

  • travel documents such as passports, visas or other documentation may be required;
  • entry into another country may be refused even where required documentation is complete; and
  • living standards, practices, utilities, services and accommodation standards at the destination may differ from those in Canada.

Government border and immigration officials determine admissibility.

Subject to applicable law, Toronto Ticket Market is not responsible where a customer cannot participate because of missing, expired or invalid documentation, inadmissibility or denial of entry attributable to the traveller.

23. BORDER AND CUSTOMS PROCEDURES

International motorcoach trips may require all passengers to leave the vehicle and be processed by border officials.

Border-processing times are outside Toronto Ticket Market's control.

Passengers must follow instructions from border officials, transportation providers and Toronto Ticket Market trip representatives.

24. PASSENGER CONDUCT

Unsafe, disruptive, abusive, threatening, illegal or excessively intoxicated behaviour may result in removal from a trip or transportation without refund, subject to applicable law.

A passenger removed for such conduct is responsible for costs associated with their own transportation, accommodation and return home.

Customers are responsible for damage they cause to buses, hotels, venues or other property.

25. PERSONAL PROPERTY

Customers are responsible for their luggage, tickets, identification, money, electronics and other personal property.

Toronto Ticket Market is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten or damaged personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

26. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Before completion of a travel booking, customers will be advised of the availability of trip cancellation insurance and, where applicable, out-of-province health insurance, as required by applicable Ontario travel-industry legislation.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

The applicable invoice or receipt will contain the required information concerning whether insurance was purchased or whether the customer was advised of its availability.

Any insurance offered is subject to the applicable insurer's terms, eligibility requirements, limitations and exclusions.

36. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Toronto Ticket Market will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses arising from use of its website, tickets, packages or services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a statutory refund guarantee, consumer right, warranty, condition or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
